P&P SCHOLARSHIP - winners

The team over at Make it in Design have unveiled the winners of the 2016 Design Scholarship in association with Print & Pattern. The contest attracted entries from over 200 applicants from 39 different countries. Entries were shortlisted by ABSPD co-founders Rachael Taylor and Beth and then I joined the panel to help select the final winner. In the end Beth and Rachael felt they had so many good designs that they couldn’t decide on just one winner and kindly chose to offer THREE full scholarships and SEVEN runner up prizes. The first prize winners are is Ashely Peifer (above), followed by Bianca Pozzi and Mel Armstrong (below).
They each win:
*A free place on all 4 modules of The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design (M1: Designing your way; M2: Creating your professional identity; M3: Monetising your designs and The Ultimate Portfolio Builder) worth over $2,000
*Complimentary access to leading trend website WGSN for 180 days
*The opportunity to be featured on the Print & Pattern blog, in MOYO Magazine and on the Make It In Design site.
Congratulations to all the winners, whose work is posted below and thank you to everyone who entered.

The following seven designers were also so impressive that Make it in Design decided to offer more prizes. All of those below receive a free place on the ABSPD Module 1 class that is starting on February 1, 2016.
